DESCRIPTION:Each Monday and Thursday morning at 8am (7:30am if forecast is above 30 degrees) a group of neighbours meet outside The Pear for a brisk walk around the neighbourhood\, or along the Port River and back. Led by volunteer neighbour Sharon\, the walking group has been going for over 4 years. DESCRIPTION:An enthusiastic group of neighbours with varying levels of green thumbs meet fortnightly to discuss all things gardening\, and get their hands dirty with various projects\, one of which is the QT Neighbourhood Garden! The group are taking the initiative in establishing the garden step by step. With the garden currently in its infancy\, now is the perfect time to get involved and share your ideas\, dreams and skills. An exciting time for the neighbourhood! \nThe Neighbourhood Garden Club meets on Thursday mornings at 9.30am\, mostly at QT. They also regularly do excursions to each other’s gardens\, community gardens around and other great places where they can learn about gardening. \nTo join the Garden Club mailing list for the latest news about what upcoming sessions will be about\, send us an email at hello@neighbourhoodnode.com.au \n  \n\nThis activity is made possible with the generous support of our partner ECH Inc\, the Australian Government Department of Social Services and the South Australian Office for Ageing Well. \nThis club meets on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people.
