DESCRIPTION:Neighbour and Justice of The Peace\, Ian Law\, holds a drop-in JP Service at The Pear each Friday morning between 8:45am – 9:45am for all your document sighting\, witnessing and signing needs. Make sure you bring all the documents you need a JP to look at and Ian will help you out. \nIf you need a JP but can’t make it on Friday mornings\, Ian is generally happy to make a time to meet with people at The Pear on other days if he is available.\nShould you need a JP on another day\, contact hello@neighbourhoodnode.com.au and we will put you in touch with Ian to arrange a time. \n

SUMMARY:Guided Alberton History Walk
DESCRIPTION:Alberton – A History Walk of Our Neighbourhood \n\nLaunched during the SA History Festival 2022\, this walk takes you past 20 locations to create a unique peek into what it was like to live in Alberton at different points in history. The stories you will hear have come from interviews with eleven past and present Alberton residents\, as well as from historical materials. The interviews\, historical research and putting together this walk were done by a team of dedicated local volunteers. We hope it brings these places to life in a new way! Your guide on this walk will be Robyn.\n\n\nIf you cannot make it to a guided walk\, you can do the Alberton History Walk in your own time using your smartphone.\n\nFor more information\, you can email hello@neighbourhoodnode.com.au or call 82403981.\n\n\n\n\nWe would like to acknowledge that we live and walk on the Traditional lands of the Kaurna people\, and that sovereignty of this land was never ceded. SUMMARY:Bingo (Port Adelaide Bowling Club)
DESCRIPTION:The Port Adelaide Bowling Club hosts Bingo every Friday morning\, to support the club and as a great social get together.\nCome along for a few games! \nThe club was established in 1903\, making them the second oldest bowls club in Adelaide. They practice social bowls every Tuesday and Thursday at 3:30pm\, and hold Thursday night teas fortnight at 5:30pm (for 6:00pm) followed by more bowling. Everyone is welcome to come and join bowling anytime\, just wear flat shoes or bare feet. \nThe club is self-supporting and totally run by volunteers.
