DESCRIPTION:Each Monday and Thursday morning at 8am (7:30am if forecast is above 30 degrees) a group of neighbours meet outside The Pear for a brisk walk around the neighbourhood\, or along the Port River and back. Led by volunteer neighbour Sharon\, the walking group has been going for over 4 years. DESCRIPTION:In this series of hands-on workshops\, Kat Milner\, an experienced digital tutor\, will help you to learn more about your device\, either Apple or Android.\n\nThe first three topics will cover smartphone and tablet basics\, online security and photo management.\n\nFortnightly classes will help you to practice what you have learnt and clarify questions.\n\nGroup participants will then choose the next three workshop topics from a range of themes such as socialising online and video platforms\, shopping online safely\, setting up MyGov and banking.\n\nCOST: Free\n\nPlease bring your own device\, notepaper and pen. SUMMARY:Social Bowls (Port Adelaide Bowling Club)
DESCRIPTION:The Port Adelaide Bowling Club was established in 1903\, making them the second oldest bowls club in Adelaide. They practice social bowls every Tuesday and Thursday at 3:30pm\, and hold Thursday night teas fortnight at 5:30pm (for 6:00pm) followed by more bowling. Everyone is welcome to come and join bowling anytime\, just wear flat shoes or bare feet. \nThe club is self-supporting and totally run by volunteers.
