With monthly birthday celebrations\, lunches\, and special events throughout the year – the Queenstown Citizens Club know how to bring people together. Entry is free\, the cost will depend on how many games of Bingo you decide to join on the day. \nThe Queenstown Citizens Club are a membership organisation\, but it is not required to be a member to be able to join Wednesday morning Bingo sessions. SUMMARY:Neighbourhood Garden Session
DESCRIPTION:The Queenstown Neighbourhood Garden has been in development since July 2022\, and since then a small group of local garden enthusiasts have transformed what was a vacant plot of grass and weeds into a budding community garden with various types of garden beds\, native plants and different types of herbs\, veggies\, flowers and trees. The garden fully relies on locals to help with planting\, planning\, watering and harvesting. \nA regular garden session is now planned for every Tuesday (morning)\, and what gets done each time depends on how many hands are available to help\, what materials we have gathered and what plants or seeds have been donated. The garden is very much a work in progress\, and we welcome any and all people who want to help turn it into a lively neighbourhood garden. \nCome along on any Tuesday. We usually have a cuppa after our hard work together\, but this is not obligatory or expected of you. If you just want to get your hands dirty\, that is fine too! Bring your own gardening gloves and favourite tools if you want. \n  \n\nThe Neighbourhood Garden is located on the Traditional lands of the Kaurna People. We pay our respects to Elders past\, present and emerging and acknowledge that sovereignty of this land was never ceded. We promise to tread lightly and consider it our duty to look after the land as best we can.

This initiative is all about bringing conversations around death and dying back into the community — creating a safe\, open space to share experiences\, ask questions\, and connect with valuable resources. \nMeet-ups will continue on the first Saturday of each month\, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm\, and everyone is welcome to join the discussion. \nAt the upcoming session on 4th October 2025\, Danielle Phillips from Sage Executor Solutions will be presenting a Mini Masterclass on Deceased Estate Administration\, offering practical guidance on what families and executors can expect and how to prepare to mobilise when a loved one dies. Did you know it takes between 200-300 hours of work sourcing all paperwork needed to finalise an Estate? A role that is often emotionally overwhelming for ones left to deal with all of that in between their busy lives. \nThis is an opportunity to source information\, and be prepared\, create ease and comfort for that time when it is needed. DESCRIPTION:The Queenstown Neighbourhood Garden has been in development since July 2022\, and since then a small group of local garden enthusiasts have transformed what was a vacant plot of grass and weeds into a budding community garden with various types of garden beds\, native plants and different types of herbs\, veggies\, flowers and trees. The garden fully relies on locals to help with planting\, planning\, watering and harvesting. \nA regular garden session is now planned for every Tuesday (morning)\, and what gets done each time depends on how many hands are available to help\, what materials we have gathered and what plants or seeds have been donated. The garden is very much a work in progress\, and we welcome any and all people who want to help turn it into a lively neighbourhood garden. \nCome along on any Tuesday. We usually have a cuppa after our hard work together\, but this is not obligatory or expected of you. If you just want to get your hands dirty\, that is fine too! Bring your own gardening gloves and favourite tools if you want. \n  \n\nThe Neighbourhood Garden is located on the Traditional lands of the Kaurna People. DESCRIPTION:Come and join a casual group and play a thrilling game of Euchre! \nEuchre is a trick-taking card game typically played by four people in two partnerships\, using a short deck of 24-32 cards. Players aim to win a majority of tricks (usually three out of five) in a round after a trump suit is determined\, which features the unique ranking of two “bowers” (the jacks of the trump and same-colored suit). The game involves strategic play\, bidding for the trump suit\, and scoring points for trick victories. \nAnyone is welcome\, no need to register. \nGold coin donation appreciated towards tea and biscuits!
