SUMMARY:Neighbourhood Garden Session
DESCRIPTION:The Queenstown Neighbourhood Garden has been in development since July 2022\, and since then a small group of local garden enthusiasts have transformed what was a vacant plot of grass and weeds into a budding community garden with various types of garden beds\, native plants and different types of herbs\, veggies\, flowers and trees. The garden fully relies on locals to help with planting\, planning\, watering and harvesting. \nA regular garden session is now planned for every Tuesday (morning)\, and what gets done each time depends on how many hands are available to help\, what materials we have gathered and what plants or seeds have been donated. The garden is very much a work in progress\, and we welcome any and all people who want to help turn it into a lively neighbourhood garden. \nCome along on any Tuesday. We usually have a cuppa after our hard work together\, but this is not obligatory or expected of you. If you just want to get your hands dirty\, that is fine too! Bring your own gardening gloves and favourite tools if you want. \n  \n\nThe Neighbourhood Garden is located on the Traditional lands of the Kaurna People. We pay our respects to Elders past\, present and emerging and acknowledge that sovereignty of this land was never ceded. We promise to tread lightly and consider it our duty to look after the land as best we can.

The Queenstown Citizens Club host a weekly Bingo session\, suitable for those who love to play a game or two as well as those who are serious about their bingo. With monthly birthday celebrations\, lunches\, and special events throughout the year – the Queenstown Citizens Club know how to bring people together. Entry is free\, the cost will depend on how many games of Bingo you decide to join on the day. \nThe Queenstown Citizens Club are a membership organisation\, but it is not required to be a member to be able to join Wednesday morning Bingo sessions. However\, Club members enjoy additional benefits including invites to the annual Christmas lunch and a yearly excursion. \nFor more information\, please contact Kay or Kathy at the Queenstown Citizens Club. \n\nThis club meets on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people. DESCRIPTION:Come and join a casual group and play a thrilling game of Euchre! \nEuchre is a trick-taking card game typically played by four people in two partnerships\, using a short deck of 24-32 cards. Players aim to win a majority of tricks (usually three out of five) in a round after a trump suit is determined\, which features the unique ranking of two “bowers” (the jacks of the trump and same-colored suit). The game involves strategic play\, bidding for the trump suit\, and scoring points for trick victories. \nAnyone is welcome\, no need to register. \nGold coin donation appreciated towards tea and biscuits!
