We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands and water upon which we meet. This always was & always will be Kaurna land.
Join us for an evening of connection, conversation, and community building at our Soup Night! This recurrent event is all about coming together over a warm, homemade meal to share ideas and explore ways to get more involved in our neighbourhood.
The evening will take place at QT – Neighbourhood, where we’ll gather around tables of eight to get to know one another and spark discussions about community ideas, skills, and interests. Whether you have a project in mind, a skill to offer, or just want to connect, this is the perfect place to start.
Neighbourhood Soup Night: A Potluck for Ideas
When you arrive at Soup Night, you’ll enter a cosy, friendly space where neighbours gather over homemade soup and fresh bread. You’ll receive a card to jot down ideas or skills to share, along with a quick photo. These cards will be displayed for others to see on the night and at future Soup Nights, encouraging connections and collaboration.
After a group kick-off, grab some soup, settle in, and chat with those around you. Throughout the night, there will be opportunities to share ideas and switch tables to meet new people. As the evening winds down, mingle freely and connect with those who sparked your interest. The atmosphere is casual and designed to leave you feeling inspire and connected to your community.
Soup Night will take place bi-monthly, so every other month. This is to ensure that we keep the ideas flowing, and to enable as many neighbours as possible to connect and get inspired!
You can find the upcoming Soup Nights in our calendar to the right.
If Soup Night inspires you to bring your idea to life, and if you would like to involve other people from our community in doing that, we are currently establishing a team of local ‘Project Guides’ who can support you to kickstart your project idea. These Project Guides will walk alongside you to bring a team together, create and execute a plan, and celebrate your successes and learnings.
