Neighbourhood Fund
Since The Pear opened we have been offering Pay It Forward coffees donated by neighbours to those in need of a conversation or just some time of the street and short of money. During the COVID epidemic we delievered COVID Coffees to those in isolation. Again , these coffees were pre-paid by you, our neighbours. Now it is time for us to do our thing; The Neighbourhood Fund.
What is the Neighbourhood Fund?
The Neighbourhood Fund is a small pot of money that gives out small grants to neighbours with great ideas that benefit our local community.
For every 10 coffees you purchase at The Pear, we will donate the cost of a coffee to the Neighbourhood Fund. A loyalty scheme with a twist, like; Drink for 5014.
To grow the fund, we give you the option to match the contribution.
Of course, the original Pay if Forward scheme still goes. We just pay for it through the fund.
So come and get your ‘loyalty’ card. Leave it at The Pear, or keep it in your wallet (maybe it could work as a conversation starter)
