Bike Basics – Maintenance (Port Environment Centre & Adelaide Bike Kitchen)

August 26 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm ACST

Have you always wanted to learn how to look after your own bike?
Adelaide Bike Kitchen joins us at QT Hub Queenstown to present their famous Bike Basics workshop!
This workshop is an introduction to bike maintenance, perfect for complete beginners but even those with some experience will learn something new.
We will cover an M safety check, teaching you to identify every component of a bike and check whether it is in good working order and safe to ride. You will learn about the tools needed to fix basic bike problems and how to use them. The final part of the workshop will teach you the correct method to fix a puncture and get back on the road.
Tickets are $10.
No prior knowledge is required. This workshop will help you gain the confidence to do quick fixes on your own bike and know when you need to get some extra assistance.
All equipment provided, participants will not be working on their own bikes but feel free to ride them to the event!
