Project Bread Run: Planning Meeting

For a little while, a small team of volunteers have been collecting bread from Bakers Delight on Thursdays, and distributing it to QT and other places around the Port Adelaide area for people in need. It’s a great little project that help feed the community while averting significant amounts of food waste, from landfill no less! Significant amounts of bread are required to be tossed out every day, unless someone is willing to pick it up and distribute it to community for free.
We are getting together to do some planning and make sure that the Bread Run can continue with enough volunteers, good processes and communication, and enough places to take the bread.

This project is a side project of the Anti-poverty Community BBQ that happens bi-monthly at QT.
